Is algo trading legal in India?
Yes. SEBI's February 2025 framework legalized retail algorithmic trading, and full compliance became mandatory in April 2026. HFTSignal is built to align with the framework — Algo-ID tagging and static IP whitelisting.
Is HFTSignal free to use?
Yes, for now. Backtesting is free and unlimited. Paper trading and live trading are free with limited usage, as part of our early-bird access running until November 2026.
Does HFTSignal ever touch my money?
No. We use a Bring Your Own Broker model — your capital stays in your own broker account, always. HFTSignal only executes trades through your broker's API on your behalf. We never take custody, never pool funds, never move money.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. HFTSignal is a no-code platform. Pick a researched strategy template, adjust parameters through a visual interface, deploy. No Python, no scripting, no programming knowledge required.
Why do you call it Hi-Fi Trading Signal?
"Hi-Fi" is short for "high fidelity" — zero distortion between what you set up and what actually happens. In practice, that's four things:
- Execution — orders run exactly as you set them up, nothing added.
- Transparency — backtest and paper results before anything goes live.
- Infrastructure — Algo-ID tagged, static IP whitelisted, built to SEBI's framework.

No. HFTSignal is a software and technology platform, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. HFTSignal does not recommend stocks, provide buy/sell tips, or offer financial advice. The user is the sole decision-maker on which instruments to trade and what parameters to set.
